We Believe


§  We believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life” John 14:6

§  We believe all men are sinners.  1 John 1:8

§  We believe in salvation by faith, through grace received only by personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  Acts 4:12

§  We believeif we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

§  We believe God delights in “giving a crown of beauty instead of ashes” and through salvation God can completely redeem and use powerfully all men.  Even those who might consider themselves “the worst”  Isaiah 61:3, 1 Timothy 1:15

§  We believe that the whole of scripture is “God-Breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”  2 Tim 3:16

§  We believe once saved all believer’s become the “Temple of the Holy Spirit.”  1 Corinthians 6:19

§  We believe those who are saved are “all one in Christ”,  “Baptized by one Spirit into one body”.  We are intentional about recognizing the equality and value of all members of the body of Christ.  Supporting unity surpasses all division such as economic, ethnic, or denominational differences.  Galatians 3:28, 1 Corinthians 12:15

§  We believe we have “the same Spirit, but different kinds of gifts” for the support and building up of the body of Christ.  1 Corinthians 12:4

§  We believe in the existence of Satan the great adversary of God and His people, leader of all evil angels an wicked spirits, the god of this present world. Though his powers are numerous they are limited strictly by the permissive will of God who overrules all his wickedness for good; that he was defeated and judged at the cross, and therefore his final end is certain.  We are able to resist and overcome him only in the armor of God, by the blood of the Lamb and through the power of the Holy Spirit.   Isaiah 14:12-15; Ephesians 6:12; I Peter 5:8; I John 3:8; Revelation 12:9-11; Revelation 20:10.

§  We believe our final home is in heaven as Jesus said, “I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”  John 14: 1-3

§  We believe until Christ’s return, daily we should aim to “live holy and Godly lives as we look forward to the day of God.”  2 Peter 3: 11, 12
